Hero Follows Me Chapter 2

When I was sentenced to banishment by my friends at the hero's party who serve the imperial palace. The furious Hero followed me. My former companions begged the hero to come back, the hero replies "It's too late now"

CHAPTER 2
First Skill

“Wha.. what do you mean?”

The 32nd Floor of The Great Labyrinth Mit Rohar.

On a floor overrun with vicious monsters, The Priest Mashua suddenly declares in a strong voice.

Mashua age 19 is a Priestess who works as a mage who can heal everyone’s wounds  and can attack using offensive light magic.

She has a fairly beautiful face and is popular among the adventurers.

She has a bold personality which can be seen as a merit, though it has been said to be a little too strong-willed for a Priestess.

She’s a healer...

“I’ve said this multiple times but I can’t stand this anymore! Riel! You’re hereby dismissed! I’m asking you to leave the party!”

I knew Mashua was in a bad mood before we entered the Great Labyrinth, but what's going on all of a sudden?

Suddenly, a friend who has been adventuring with me since the party was formed is asking me to leave.

“Mashua, even if you say something like that all of a sudden. I can’t just leave.”

This wasn’t the right place to say this. The surroundings were still dangerous.

Anyways isn't this topic something we can talk about after we get out of the Great Labyrinth?

“Let me be clear! I have no use of a ranger who only carries luggage and is totally useless in battles. Rather, you're a burden yourself, so please leave. Of course, you must leave your gear and money here.”

“Lucien thinks so, too!” Mashua turns to see if the wise Lucien agrees.

The wise man, Lucien, is a man who is a little older than everyone else, a little shorter, and has a long face.

He has sharp eyes and is quick-witted in many ways.

His position is naturally that of a magical rearguard attacker.

He is in charge of using powerful magic to finish off the monster.
He specializes in fire magic.

Lucien nodded with a grin.

“That's right. Don't you know what the public perception of our party is? We are a top tier party, who have been recognized by the country for our achievements. A party like ours should only be filled with talented strong individuals.”

“That’s right! How can someone as weak as you call themselves a ranger.”

“But my role is to find and unlock traps, secure food, collect and maintain equipment, carry everyone’s luggage so that it becomes easier for them to fight."

I, Riel-keek fan in general, work as a support ranger.

Scouting and detecting monsters in advance, spotting traps, and unlocking treasure chests if there are any.

My weapon of choice is a dagger or miniature crossbow which can do a long distance attack.

A supporter is literally a person who carries your luggage, mixes medicines, cooks, and maintains your equipment.

When we were just a small party, I did my best to help everyone learn how to fight.

[SWHJ] Vol 1 | Chapter 1 - I Started Working a Housekeeping Job

In the vast blue sky, iridescent clouds rise far off in the distance. The deafening chorus of cicadas, amplifying the summer heat, spills endlessly through the open windows of the classroom. "Be careful not to get too carried away and end up in an accident during summer vacation," warns the homeroom teacher before leaving the room. As soon as the teacher exits and the after-school period begins, the students' chatter grows louder than the cicadas. Their voices are filled with energy that rivals the summer heat, bursting with excitement. Some students stand up from their seats to gather with close friends, eagerly sharing their vacation plans with those around them. Amidst the lively atmosphere, one male student takes a seat at the desk by the window in the back row. "Got any plans for the break, Haru?" he asks the boy seated at the desk. "Hmm? Well, I suppose I'll study," Haru replies. "No way! Are you serious?" "Do you think I’d lie...

The next morning, after finishing his early morning study session, which didn't progress as much as usual, Haruto took a shower, changed his clothes, and styled his hair using a hair product he rarely used. Finally, he checked his appearance in the full-length mirror. “Alright, nothing looks off.” Haruto nodded after making sure he was presentable. As someone who would be escorting a lady, maintaining a neat appearance was the minimum standard of etiquette. Following his grandmother’s teachings faithfully, Haruto finished getting ready and headed towards the entrance. “Granny, I’m off.” “Yes, yes, be careful out there.” “Alright.” After being seen off by his grandmother, Haruto made his way to the station building, the meeting spot with Ayaka. It took about twenty minutes by train from Haruto’s town to where the station building was located. For the past few days, the weather had been so persistently clear that it was as if all other weather conditions had been forgotten. Haruto, w...
